Abruzzo is a region of Southern Italy. The region, divided into the provinces of L'Aquila, Teramo, Pescara and the Chieti, borders the region of Marche to the north, Lazio to the west and south-west, Molise to the south-east, and the Adriatic Sea to the east. Abruzzo is split into the mountainous area in the west with the Gran Sasso d'Italia, and into the coastal area on the eastern side with the beaches of the Adriatic sea.
An interesting (and delicious) thing about this postcard: Poste Italiane Issued 50th anniversary commemorative stamp Nutella. The 70 Euro cent stamp was designed by Istituto Poligrafico and Zecca dello Stato and features a jar of Nutella on a golden background.
Thanks Svetlana!
